i finally got around to reading your entry, and i have to ask....wil his hair be ok...=3=
(i mean like if you had won, would his hair have special powers because it's all glowy green and stuff...weird question, i know...)

Actually, I've never worked up the nerve to ask Unknown Person if they would want to do a "What If?" entry versus me. My plans for Eric was that he wound up absorbing that power Lillith was using. He didn't know it at the time, and when he entered his mech in the finale, his mind would have plugged in to the Law of Talos itself, and he would have been enslaved. It would have been up to the other characters, Jinam and Mizuno, and the other side characters there in the finale, to wrench him out of there

wait, did you tell u.p. your plan? or are you stating what he/she (idk his/her gender) did in his/her entry?
cailencrow Featured By Owner Aug 21, 2012
No, I haven't had a chance to talk to Unknown in a while

no, i mean at the time of this tournament, did you tell him/her? but i'm guessing no.

Okay, now this is soooooo not what happens. Ginger and Annie do not forfit, THEY WIN!! (sorry for spoilers to those who may read this before reading BlackLillian's updates) they defeat Erich and go on to win the whole thing. Your stories up till now made sense and worked but now these few parts have made no sense and just do not fit.

and Climber was the one who stopped Lillian not Eric!

First off

1) Law of Talos happened in 2008. Way to Grave Dig
2) This was a Tournament comic, which meant that my opponent for this round was BlackLillian. And the judges chose HER comic, which meant that THIS comic was null and void. That's how an Original Character Tournament works.
3) Law of Talos was admitted by the creator and the judges to be a biased and rigged tournament. Funny how you back up BlackLillian's entry, yet in your favorites is UNKNOWNPERSON's entry for the finale. That makes you either hypocritical or a troll, take your pick. And if you ARE trolling, you missed the "Everyone Troll Law of Talos" Train a LONG time ago. By two years.

~proffate already won.
You Fail.

Ooooooooh I get it now. So basically you guys draw comics (or animate/film) where your character wins and leave it up to the judges to decide which entry is canon. THATS why so many competitors' comics are unfinished. I guess that's why Unknown Person had made his last in two parts, one to be judged and the other to finish the story. (I know I am digging up graves too, I wish I was around when it was going on in 2008! >.<)

Yes. Unfortunately, many people who followed the OCTs and were...."rabid" fans never quite understood the concept of a tournament, where there was a winner and a loser. To this day, people can't comprehend that Zeurel never progressed beyond round 2 of an OCT called Escape From Nevara.

So its not just a competition between OCs, it's also a competition between artists. I wondered how that worked. I guess most people figure that the competitions had a linear story, and was basically one giant story collaberated by all the artists. (especially in Law of Talos, as most people watch Karl's side first, and it ends), even though that's far from the truth.
